CHEF GEORGE ADAM’S CORNER
Wednesday, January 23, 2013
Greetings from the kitchen at Go Fish! Seafood Market and Sushi Bar! It’s been a good year from my perspective; I created some excellent dishes, made connections with our customers, and hopefully left everyone with a pleasant experience. My personal goal as Chef, and collectively at Go Fish!, is for everyone to to walk away with a pleasant culinary experience. As your Chef, I enjoy hearing feedback from all of our customers. Throughout the course of 2013, I will be blogging periodically both on our facebook page and our website. There is a lot to be said, taught, and be excited about in regards to our restaurant, our menu, our market, staff and of course our valued patrons. As I leave you this evening I will say this…while I am not a very eloquent man as my spelling is atrocious, I am, however, a passionate man about Family and Food!! The genius of being a great Chef is so very simple…Prepare everything you make as if you are feeding your Family!
From our kitchen to yours,
Head Chef, George Adams

I don’t normally write letters or fill out questionnaires about businesses because I feel it’s much the same. However I feel it absolutely necessary to write you and your staff to once again “Thank You” for responding and delivering on my request for the hard to get fresh Walleye.

I’ve got to tell you…I had brought my girls from the office in for lunch, & gotten take-out a couple of times, & then brought my parents for lunch a couple weeks ago – & we had exceptional meals every single time!

Heather Clark ’04 Says “GO FISH!”
DCP alumna opens fish market on Penn Avenue in West Reading
As a full-time student Heather Clark ’04 worked three jobs, which sometimes left her feeling overwhelmed. But, with the support of her cohort peers in Lancaster, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology/organizational behavior from Albright in 2004. Today, Clark is the owner of GO FISH! Seafood and Sushi Bar in Reading; a career path she could not have predicted.
Buying seafood these days can be a complicated matter. We worry about our health, the environment and the sustainability of this important food source.
Heather Clark opened Go Fish Seafood in West Reading.
West Reading’s trendy main street stores are well known for offering a unique shopping experience. But now, in addition to art, jewelry and fashions, shoppers can enjoy hand-rolled sushi and take home fresh seafood and fish for dinner.
